Warren Memorial Hospital confirmed on Monday that Mahoney was treated for a gunshot wound and released Monday night. Police were alerted by the hospital.
Rappahannock Commonwealth Attorney George Davis stated that, in the pursuit, Mahoney had Attempted to wreck a police cruiser, almost attempted to kill the officers and that he is satisfied the police had legitimate cause for their actions. Davis added that Mahoney will obviously be * prosecuted hi bath*Warren and Rappahannock Counties.
