Some of the newer members who continue to improve and will be important to the team’s future are Ron Dougherty, Don pou^herty, Gary Foster, Eric Niskanen, David Bywaters and John Shanahan.
In the Stonewall relays which took place this past Saturday, Carl Jordan took first in the triple jump and second in the long jump. Chris Foster placed third in the high jump breaking the school record with a jump of 6’1”.
Pine Wood Derby
The Pine Wood Derby finals of Amissville Boy Scout Pack 50 was held April 17 and Brett Anderson won the speed elimination contest with the best two out of three against Neal Curtis. Runnersup were Sean Wayland, Richie Adams, Michael Fontaine and John Murk.
Derrick Strosnider took first place with the best looking car while Brett Anderson placed second and Michael Fontaine was third.
