Pageant
The “Miss Rappahannock” Beauty Pageant sponsored by the Sperryville Rescue Squad will be held May 18, 1979 at the elementary school at 7 p.m. Miss Rappahannock will be crowned by Lois Grigsby, winner of the 1978 pageant.
Applications will be distributed among both schools and are available from Mrs. Cecil Baldwin, 987-8240 or Mrs. Sandra Brown 9878758. An entry fee of $10.00 will be needed with the application. Anyone who wishes to participate and does not have a sponsor, may have one selected for them.
Rehearsal will be held at the elementary school May 16, 1979 at 7 p.m.
Reams Have
Second Son
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reams of Winchester announce the birth of their second son, Samuel Morgan, on April 19, 1979 in Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Reams is the former Kaye ‘ Johnston of Washington. Grandparents of the infant are Mrs. T. M. Johnston of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. Hinton Samuel Reams of Church Road.
