With spirit and courage, outstanding citizens of Rappahannock also serve as lasting inspirations in their personal battles with cancer. Donations to the American Cancer Society have special meaning when made in their honor, in their memory.
Donations also enable the Rappahannock chapter to maintain a loan closet of special equipment for those stricken with cancer. Crutches, walkers, bedside tables, wheelchairs, commodes, braces and a new high/low hospital bed that can be raised or lowered are all available from our local unit. Anyone in need of this equipment has only to call Dolly Biddle at 6753449 to arrange for the free service.
