planning commission doesn’t have the responsibility in considering a site plan to decide whether or not the ski area has the right to build an Alpine slide. The planners must only determine if the ski area has disclosed what it plans to do and how it plans to do it, according to Adamson.
"We understand that,” countered Miller, pointing out that the planners must also review the development plan for compliance with article 13 of the county’s zoning ordinance. “Has the state Highway Department concurred with this particular site plan (regarding entrance and exit from the ski area onto the state road)?” asked Miller. “Do we have current approval of sewer and sanitary facilities for this particular site plan?...The only thing I want is something that’s current,” Miller said.

After representatives from the ski area left the court room, Werner Krebser asked if Rapp Ski Limited was applying for a building permit under the county’s existing zoning ordinance.
Miller agreed this was the case and added that recreational uses were allowed by right with the ski
