Baumgardner interjected that approval of the new ski slopes was not before the planning commission. Only the alpine slide is included in the current building permit application, he said. Baumgardner added that all land disturbing activity would be subject to the requirements of the county’s erosion and sedimentation control ordinance.
“How about the sewage system?” asked Keyser.
Baumgardner replied that the ski area’s sewage system had been approved by the Health Department in 1974. “We don’t expect any increased burden from the Alpine slide,” he said.
