The Rappahannock County High School boys track team consists of fifteen members who, through practice and competitive desire, make up for inexperience and numbers. In the past several years there has been a low turn-out for boys track, but in the first three meets this year they have shown that they can compete with other district schools in a consistent manner.

The team has three seniors and only six members with any track experience so there is room for growth and improvement for the future. One of the major goals of the team is individual excellence which brings forth team improvement. All of this is acquired through work encouragement and support.

Consistent performances are being turned in by Carl Iordan and Rodney Cook in le long jump and triple ji mp. Chris Foster continues to improve in the high jump as well as being an asset in the 440 run and relay. Paul Keithley, Brian Fitzek and Steve Foster are important
