Roger Walter Breeden, 15, of Amissville was killed instantly in a single-car crash last Thursday about midnight on Route 211 west of Amissville. Breeden was a passenger in a 71 Ford owned and operated by James Russell Riley, according to Trooper C. A. Moore.
Riley sustained a broken nose and face lacerations and Barry Lee Gough, a passenger, received a broken arm and leg, according to Moore. Both boys are also of Amissville.
The officer said the vehicle apparently was travelling east, went out of control, up the bank and struck a utility pole, snapping it. Breeden
