To the editor:
On behalf of the Rappahannock Recreation Association, thank you and your staff for the generous coverage you gave us during the past eight weeks as we plodded towards Fodderstack Classic Day. Each week you published either an article or a picture, or both. Your support and effort to promote the race and the Recreation Authority were more than we could have hoped for, and we are grateful and very much aware that it was largely because of your promotion that we had such a successful day. Thank you!
