Place Second
The Rappahannock Hee Haws won second place at the annual Extension Homemakers District Day held at the Springfield Hilton last Wednesday. The group comprised of Flo Duvall, Corinne Del Grosso, Mary Stuart Bain, Myrtle Falls, Alice Pullen, Sandra Jenkins, Ellen Mustoe and Russie Miller won second place in a Gong Show with a take-off on the clothes line, a skit from the T.V. show “Hee Haw”.
Others attending the meeting from Rappahannock were Rose Bowey, Nora Sealock, Maybelle Gilkey, Mary Priest, Claudia Putnam, Blondina Titchenell and Nancy Secrist. The business meeting followed a brunch which was enjoyed by all.
