Ellen Manson of Washington has announced her candidacy for the seat of Supervisor from Hampton District in the November election. She will oppose incumbent Clarence Baldwin who has held this position for a term and a half.
Mrs. Manson is 33 years of age originally from Newport News, and moved with her husband Charles to Rappahannock in 1974. They have one daughter.
Mrs. Manson said, "As supervisor. I would listen to the issues and make decisions based on facts. The people of Rappahannock would always know how I stand on the issues.”
