Dishonest Reports The example cited in the letter to the supervisors of a small farmer whose property taxes would jump from $132 to $151.76 with the abolition of levies on household goods, farm machinery and livestock hadn’t reported his holdings honestly, according to Mrs. Scoggin. "The honest farmer—small, medium or large—is not likely to pay any more," she emphasized.
