The engagement of Marilyn S. Johnson of Sperryville to John R. Eubank, Jr., also of Sperryville, has been announced. Ms. Johnson is the daughter of Raymond M. Sutphin of Flint Hill and Mr. Eubank is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eubank. Sr., of Washington.
Ms. Johnson graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1962 and is presently attending Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown.
Mr. Eubank graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1957 and is proprietor of the Sperryville Barber Shop and the Culpeper Family Hair Center.
A December wedding is planned.
Meeting Notice
The Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association will meet Friday. September 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chester Gap fire hall. All members are urged to attend.
