The Rev. W. B. Dennis was honored Sunday with a picnic at his home in celebration of his 92nd birthday with about thirty family and friends attending.
Mrs. George Johnston returned home Friday following surgery in Fauquier Hospital. Mrs. Edna J. Payne of Culpeper was a Saturday caller in the Johnston home.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hash were Mr. and Mrs. Happy Hash and daughters of Springfield.
Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Gaines. Tammy and Junior of Madison were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines. Tommy and Stewart.
Samuel W. Butler visited his uncle. J. Stant Weaver in Washington on Thursday.
F. R. Frazier Sr. and Harold, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Michele and Michael, Janet Frazier. Mrs. Harty Racey, Mrs. Dennis Mason along with Mrs. Lacy Corbin and Mrs. Sylvester Corbin, both of Winchester, were visitors during the past week of Mrs. Lizzie Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter White have returned from a trip to Kentucky and enroute home visited in Pulaski and Fork Union. They spent the weekend in Williamsburg and attended the football game.
