Rappahannock’s cross country team captured the first six places in a dual meet on, Tuesday, defeating Randolph Macon Academy, 15 to 48, on the Blue Rock Farm course.
Setting the pace for the Panthers was freshman Scott Keithley who finished the 2.7 miles in 16:30. Craig Kenyon took second place on 16:56, Ron Dougherty third in 17:09, Jimmy Tomko fourth in 17:42, Don Dougherty fifth and David Dodson, sixth.
Ricky Shaw, the team’s outstanding eighth grade runner, finished seventh overall with a time of 18:42. Ann Thomas, 11th place
