Ronald S. Gilliam. President, announced that the Front Royal Savings and Loan Association has officially opened for business on the corner of Sixth Street and Commerce Avenue in Front Royal.
The Savings and Loan Association has 625 stockholders and more than $1.1 million in capital. Directors of the Corporation include Mr. Gilliam; Kent E. Coons, Vice President; Arnold M. Williams, Secretary; Davis L. Wines. Treasurer; Samuel J. Baggarly; Frank H. Brumback; J. William Gilliam; and Francis D. Hall.
J. William Gilliam is General Counsel and John Salony is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer.
The Front Royal Savings and Loan will offer a full range of savings and loan services, including all fixed and variable rate certificate accounts, telephone transfer, mortgage and related loans.
