John Creel of Culpeper and grandchildren Andy and Julia of Aroda. Clifton Clark was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Corker at Beaverdam. Saturday they attended the Director's meeting of the Southeastern Night Foxhound Field Trail in Clarksville and were overnight guests of A. A. LeGrand in Boydton. returning home Monday. Mrs. Virginia Jenkins remains a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

John Franklin Jones. 68. of Middletown died Friday. January 16. 1981 in the Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Joseph Anderson and the Rev. Wendell Schurtz. Burial was in the Reliance Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born September 2. 1912 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Clarence Jones and Bertha Clark Jones. He was a member of the Reliance United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II. U. S. Army.

Surviving is his widow. Madeline Elizabeth Jones of Middletown; a daughter. Marie Simms of Alexandria; one brother. Clark Jones of Flint Hill; a sister. Virginia Calfee of Front Royal and two granddaughters.
