Named
Mrs. Earl Yancey of Viewtown and Mrs. Virginia Cloud of Washington have been named Chairmen of the 1981 American Heart Association Campaign for Rappahannock County.
As Campaign Chairmen, they will coordinate and direct local volunteers during the February residential campaign. Neighborhood volunteers will be conducting a door-to-door collection for contributions to support Heart Association research, professional education and community service programs in Virginia. An informative pamphlet on heart attack signs and Heart Association programs will be distributed.
This year the Heart Association will spend over S300.000 in research in Virginia. In over 30 years, the American Heart Association has put a third of a billion publicly contributed dollars into heart research. r
