The Town Council feels that this is as fair as we can be. If you save water your water bill will not be any higher. If you use or need more water then you only pay what the water costs the town.
This rate will be in effect until after the water problem is solved.

If we can control the leaks in the water lines caused by freezing and if our water supplier delivers the water he has promised the water will stay on twenty-four hours a day.

To Meet
The Rappahannock Historical Society will meet at 7:30, Friday. February 6th. at the Rappahannock Library in Washington. Featured speaker will be C. E. “Ned" Johnson Jr., of Sperryville. who will discuss the Fairfax Proprietary.—the 5-million acre grant from the King of England to Lord Fairfax, commonly known today as the Northern Neck of Virginia.
“Some deeds in Rappahannock County go back to Lord Fairfax." Johnson said, "and there is a certain amount of romance to the story."
