The Rappahannock 4-H Horse and Pony Club held its monthly meeting Friday, January 9 at the home of leader Jane Naramore in Amissville.
The first order of business was a discussion of the county 4-H project night planned for March. The club hopes to sponsor at least one project and to contribute some talent to the “Share the Fun" aspect of the program.
Possible participation in the upcoming free CPR classes plus a trip to a presentation on 3-Day Eventing by the Orange County 4-H Horse and Pony Club on Friday, January 16, also came under consideration.
Plans for future club meetings came under discussion, followed by a lecture on polo by club leader Sherry Hamill. She briefly covered the history of the sport and then went into the equipment required by both horse and rider. The program concluded with talk about a
