McDaniel explained that the school board, however, must approve a special education plan, although not necessarily the document he submitted, in order to receive ANY state or federal funds.
The board voted unanimously, with Miller abstaining, to adopt the special ed six-year plan “subject to available funds.” Copies of the plan are available for public inspection at the superintendent's office in Sperryville.
