Rappahannock New* Photo/Daphne Hutchinson WELL .DRILLER Larry LeHew welds two sections of pipe together before sinking the casing for the new town well into the ground. Despite digging to 410 feet, LeHew was able to find a flow of only four gallons per minute, not sufficient for the town’s needs. The new well will be fitted with a low volume pump and hooked into the reservoir tank this week.
