Vocational education is where students are turning to become involved in the development of skills which are so vital to the survival of our nation, state and communities.
As a vital part of the Vocational Education training at the center, students participate in youth organizations in each of their trade areas. The organizations are part of curriculum and every student automatically participates in activities which are promoted on the local level.
Each of the four student organizations at Piedmont is active on district, state, and national levels as well.
The FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) promotes a basic understanding of business procedures and, at the same time, develops leadership and occupational qualities in its members.
FBLA Projects include Rock-A-Thon for the March of Dimes, student programs, roller skating socials for the members, local, district, and state competitive events, and to wrap up the year, the FBLA banquet.
