William Bloomer will present his recommendations on square footage for the five classrooms he feels, as a professional in the field of education, need to be added to Rappahannock County High School.
The board will also address curriculum expansion that requires classroom space. With every room at RCHS used every period of every day, any new courses will practically mandate added class space.
In addition, the superintendent will also give the board his ideas on the long overdue expansion of the high school library, bath rooms, offices, cafeteria, storage space and other support facilities.
This will be a rare' opportunity for the public to state its views on the 198182 school budget before it is adopted by the board, a chance to speak out in favor of inclusion of capital outlay funds to fill space needs at the high school originally pointed out in a 1976 joint school board, supervisor report.
