Gun control is one of the many issues which the General Assembly is dealing with this year. Already, several bills which would strengthen gun control laws have been introduced.

The Episcopal Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish announced recently that they have made a donation of $100 to each of the following fire companies in Rappahannock County: Amissville, Chester Gap, Cast let on. Sperryville and Washington.
This was one of the benefits that accrued to the county as the result of the highly successful annual house tour and flower sale sponsored by the church last October.
Other donations were made to the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of Rappahannock and to the Rappahannock County Welfare Department, in appreciation of the thanks for the cooperation and support of Rappahannock residents with the house tour project.
