Passenger Car
Total travel on Virginia's major highways declined slightly in December, but passenger car travel showed an increase compared to a year ago, according to the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation.
Overall travel dropped by 0.3 of I per cent, the smallest monthly decline since the first decline was recorded in June. 1079. However, it was the 19th straight month that Virginia travel has shown a decline.
