Dean’s List

Cadet William C. Nichols, of Hint Hill, is among 251 Virginia Military Institute cadets named to the dean's list for the first semester of the school year.

Cadet Nichols, a civil engineering major, is a second classman (junior) at VM1. He holds the rank of sergeant in the VMI Corps of Cadets. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Nichols, Flint Hill, and was graduated from Rappahannock County High School before entering the Institute.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a cadet must have an average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all subjects .with no grade below 2.0.
