In order to be eligible for a grant consideration, a fire department must be able to answer “yes” to the following questions:
1. Does the department service a community with a population of 10,000 or less?
2. Is the request for assistance in organizing, training or equipment? (Large equipment, such as a truck, cannot be considered.)
3. Is the department able to match half or more of the grant requested?
