Mrs. Edith Bessie Gark, 77, of Richmond, formerly of Boyce, died Friday, September 11, 1981 at her residence.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Enders Funeral Home in Berryville by the Rev. Michael L. Grooms. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester.

Mrs. Clark was born September 23, 1903 at Sperryville, the daughter of Rub and Delia Atkins.

Surviving with her husband, Seth Clark of Berryville are two daughters, Mazie Diffenderfer of Berryville and Delia Tinsman of Richmond; a son, Wallace Clark of Charles Town, W. Va.; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fannie Atkins of Ohio and Florence Atkins of Winchester and one brother, Lynwood Atkins of Winchester.
