Try for a visual image of a potter and what pops up is usually female—an artistic, back-to-the-earth (’cause the medium is clay) type. Think potter and the face that doesn’t come immediately to mind is Worden Robinson's. Remember the curly haired little imp with the angelic voice, rosy cheeks and twinkle in his eye who always showed up late in the choir loft, a rip and a mud splotch on his robes from a quick game of ball in the parking lot before church? Robinson is that little boy grown up.
