As to correction of the safety violations in the RCHS shop cited last school year by OSHA, only one safety hazard remains to be corrected, the superintendent continued. After explosion proof light switches now on order are received and installed, OSHA will be asked to conduct a final inspection before the contractor for the project is paid for his work.
School Offices To Move?
Chairman Massie reported that l*stabrook is vestigating the possibility of leasing the old Washington Post Office for school board office after being contacted by an individual who plans to buy the building. (The post office will be moved to the renovated Merrill's garage building next door to Nature’s Foods in the center of town.)
