An introductory theater workshop' session under the auspices of The Rappahannock Players, conducted by Margo Figgins, will be held in The Country Playhouse, at Wakefield School, on Saturday, September 19th at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for the session which is open to all students and adults in terested in theatre arts.

Ms. Figgins will instruct and supervise a series of theater games, which are fun and designed to elicit creative responses and to reveal the innovative dramatic resources of the participants. Ms. Figgins received her training in improvisational theater and dance from "The Theatre Circle Academy of Drama”, Geneva, Switzerland; Arena Stage's "Living Stage Company” and “The Ebony Impromptu Company." She has written and produced three original one-act plays, each of which won the highest theater award offered by The Virginia Forensic League in state competitions.

If there is sufficient interest in this initial workshop. The Rappahannock Players plan to develop a program of similar workshops to be made available throughout the year.

Wakefield School in Fluntly is located on Route 522 between Flint Hill and Front Royal.
