Gardiner asked Mrs. Settle if she thought Mills would be competition.
"Everybody's got to make a living,” she replied, adding that customers are attracted by good service and reasonable prices. “We’re not like the Parrishes, telling him what to do,*” she concluded.
With no further speakers either for or against, the board voted unanimously to grant Mills’ request for a special use permit to operate a used car lot.
