chosen to sing for the closing day concert. She is the first person from Rappahannock ever to be given such an honor. The school should be proud of this.

Marie has been singing since the age of nine. She started singing in plays while she attended school in Washington, D. C. She plans to attend the Juilliard Music School. Her major goal is to reach stardom as a singer and composer.

Since school has started everyone has come involved in one club or another. A number of clubs met last week and elected officers.

The Junior class elected officers for the upcoming year. They are: PresidentGinger Eidson; VicePresident-Cristol Porter; Secretary-Eric Bear; Treasurer-Terri Tylek. The juniors discussed fund raising projects that would enable them to give the seniors their annual prom. The sponsors for the junior class are Mr. Flinchum, Mrs. Wood and Miss Gehringer.
