Zoning administrator David Konick sought guidance from the Rappahannock planning commissioners at last Wednesday’s meeting on interpretation and enforcement of zoning regulations.

At the same time, he offered some guidance of his own, recommending that the commissioners act immediately to amend certain sections of the county’s zoning and subdivisions ordinances, areas which Konick feels are too critical to delay revising until the ongoing ordinance reviewprocess is completed.

In the First instance, Konick asked for advice on handling a subdivision request from Mr. and Mrs. Frank Neal of Castleton. The Neals want to divide a 37acre tract into a 30-acre lot and a seven-acre lot.
