Red Cross Blood Services officials all over the country have been urging people to give blood as the supply of type-O, in particular, shrinks to critical levels.
Type-O is what the majority of blood recipients require. It also is what patients are given when an emergency does not permit hospital technicians time to match a patient’s blood.
