Funeral services for Hencil H. Dodson, 69, of Sperryville, were conducted Wednesday at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. Ronald Wiley. Burial was in the Sperryville Cemetery.

Mr. Dodson died Sunday. January 24, 1982, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. He was born May 12, 1912, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late John Franklin and Virgie Jenkins Dodson. He was retired from the FMC Corp.

Surviving are his widow, Lois A. Dodson; a son, Frank k Hencil Dodson of Froni IBoyal; six daughters, Irorgaret Strickler, Juanita Ca^her, Alice Partlowe, Franks Brown, Nancy Wood and V^Uoria Michael, all of Front ^>yal; 13 grandchildren trad seven greatgrandchildrerW

Also surviving are four sisters, CatherrSe Dodson and Mamie AtkinsVboth of Luray, Bessie Atlttes of Sperryville and Margaret Kastle of Martinsburg, WL Va., and a brother, Vernorrs Dodson, also of Martinsburg.
