Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson is again seeking applications from older citizens in the Seventh Congressional District interested in participating in the Congressional Senior Citizen Intern program in the nation’s capital during one week this spring.
The program, scheduled from May 17-21, draws participants aged 60 or older from around the nation. They take part in seminars and briefings geared to the special interests of elderly Americans. The program also offers participants the opportunity to become acquainted with the operations of a Congressional office, and to view the Congress in action.
Robinson has named a Senior Citizen Intern in each of the last six years.
