Carol Elaine Atkins, a Longwood College junior from Flint Hill, has been tapped into Geist, the College's honorary leadership fraternity.
Founded at the College in 1966, Geist signifies spirit, intelligence, and imagination, and endeavors to encourage campus leadership and high standards of service and scholarship among students.
Carol, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac N. Atkins, Jr., is majoring in elementary education.
