Going to the post for the 25th time in as many years, the Casanova Point-To-Point Races lead off the 1982 spring racing season this Saturday, Feb. 27, at Edward P. Evans' Spring Hill Farm.
According to racing secretary Will O’Keefe, a record of close to 100 entries has been received, in addition to 33 pairs entered in the hunter pace event.
"It will be an afternoon full of racing,” says O'Keefe.
Veteran gentleman rider and 11-time Seven Corners winner Randy Rouse, MFH Fairfax Hunt, will be Wking for his First win of the season in the featured Casanova Cup, and a leg on this year’s Seven Corners Challenge Trophy. Rouse will be aboard his last year’s winner, Cinzano.
