Asked what the IQFs mentioned in the conversation stood for, he launched into a detailed description of "Individually Quick Frozen" fruit, frozen in just 15 seconds, "so fast that hardly any ice crystals formed. There's minimal cellular destruction and the fruit retains its identity,” he explained.
"Isn’t that interesting?" DeBergh asked with a wide smile, leaning back in his chair and stretching his arms wide. "This business is a blast! 1 live it sometimes 24 hours a day and I love it," he concluded.
