Workshop Set
The RappahannockRapidan Planning District Commission will be conducting a Workshop on the 1981 Community and Economic Development Block Grant (CEDBG) Program on March 5. at the Culpeper Holiday Inn. The Workshop which starts at 10:00 a.m. will feature Mayor J. Willard Lineweaver, member of the Virginia CEDBG Policy Committee, at the dutch treat luncheon.
The Workshop is designed to provide interested citizens and governmental officials with an opportunity to discuss the features of the new block grant program. Highlights will include a discussion of eligible projects in the areas of industrial development, commercial downtown revitalizations, housing rehabilitation and improvements, and community facilities. Interested citizens wishing to attend the Workshop may call the Commission’s offices at 8256140 for reservations.
