Dodson
Ira Elton Dodson, 75, of Orange died Friday, February 26, 1981 at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel, Orange with burial in the Graham Cemetery.
Mr. Dodson was born in Madison County, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired employee of Virginia Metal Products.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Elizabeth Dyer Dodson of Orange; three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Estes of Gordonsville, Mrs. Shelby Jean Berry of Culpeper and Mrs. Henry Garrison of Barboursville; a son, Steven Ellsworth Dodson of Barboursville; four brothers, Cletus Dodson and Ramey Dodson, both of York. Pa., Hunter Dodson of Madison and Ralph Dodson of Washington; 14 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
