DAR Meets
The Rappahannock Chapter NSDAR celebrated the 250th Anniversary of the birth of George Washington with a luncheon. The members were guests of Mrs. George Butler on Saturday, February 13, at her home in Boston.
The Chapter meeting convened after the luncheon. February being “American History Month,” slides from DAR Program Committee "Signers of the Declaration of Independence” were shown. The next meeting of the Rappahannock Chapter NSDAR will be at the home of Mrs. Ray Smoot in March.

Dean’s List
David Brooke Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbill Miller of Washington, has been named to the Dean’s List at Virginia Tech for the fall quarter after earning over a 3.4 average in the university’s 4.0 grading system. Miller is a senior at Tech majoring in biology.
