The American Heart Association completed a successful campaign for 1982 on Monday. March 1.
I wish to thank all the captains, volunteers, school children, teachers, heart fund treasurer. Frances Foster and the Rappahannock News for their efforts in raising money for research in the fight to eliminate heart disease and stroke from all walks of life in Rappahannock County. The Heart Association cannot do this alone, but depends upon the generous support and continuing interest of every citizen. I am deeply grateful for the cooperation of all who contributed money, time and effort in this endeavor.
Memorial contribution may be made at any time of year, and checks may be sem to Mrs. Foster in Washington, Va.
