For Workshop
A gosepl concert to benefit F.O.R.E.’s sheltered workshop for the handicapped will feature several groups from Rappahannock County.
Performing at the concert scheduled for Saturday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m. at Central Elementary school in Warrenton will be the Men’s Chorus from Promised Land Baptist Church and the Youth Choir from the First Baptist Church, both in Washington. In addition, James Freeman, Jr., and Nanette Butler of Washington will sing a duet.
Other groups include Friendship Chorus of Culpeper, the Dean family of Catlett, the Gospel Harmonizers from Middleburg, the Mt. Zion Youth Choir from Warrenton and saxophonist Edward Thompson of Rectortown. Emcee for the concert will be Mrs. Millie Carter from WQRA radio.
