Two county residents displeased by recent zoning and land use decisions of local government brought their cases to the supervisors’ meeting on March 1. Both went away from the session disappointed: Doris Donald by the board’s position that it has no authority over a special use permit granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals and Mary Neal by a ruling from the supervisors that county ordinances prohibit approval of the land division she seeks.
