Robert T. Dennis of Rappahannock County has been named President and chief executive officer of the Piedmont Environmental Council.
Dennis was promoted by the Council’s Board of Directors from the post of Executive Director in which he has served for the past year.
In related action, the Board elected Arthur W. Arundel of The Plains to serve as Chairman of the Board and Marie W. Ridder, a part-time resident of Hume, to become its ViceChairman.
The moves reflect a general reorganization of the 10-yearold council caused by the health-related retirement of B.
