William Monroe ended with second seed for the tournament after falling to the Mount Jackson team in a play-off game last Monday night. A rescheduled final this Monday saw William Monroe manage a 15-foot off-balance jumper at the buzzer to down the Generals for the Skyline District championship. 49-47.
Rappahanoock’s varsity Panthers finished third in the district with a 12-10 final record.
