We would like to express our appreciation to the Rappahannock News for its kind and complete coverage of Rappahannock County High School's Pop Quiz academic team. We also thank Mrs. Aline .Johnson for her kind letter of support for both the team and the public school system.
It has been a very gratifying experience for all those involved in the development of this team. Unfortunately. we all make the mistake of assuming the team began back in September when we were invited to compete. The truth is, of course, that this was the last step. Special congratulations go to all the parents of all the team members who instilled in their children a love of knowledge and a desire to excel. Few children reach this level of ability without the support and guidance of a caring family .
All of the teachers of these students over all their years of schooling did their part and more. It’s a shame that they all could not have been present to see the
